I was reading over some material and it had everything about "Night owl" times and rates then it said that they have a "Late night party" (fees apply) and and I was wondering on a 7 night cruise when does this take place, how much is it and what it's all about. DS will be 9 at the time. Thanks!!

I know on the Magic there was a big late night party on the Fri night and it was like $33 a kid and they walk the kid back to the room when its over. There are a few other nights that are cheaper but not sure when. I wanna say they were sea days.

"Fun to One" party! My boys LOVED these. There was two on our Dream sailing, I *think* it took place on the sea day. It was $13 per child plus gratuities $18 total per kid. They served pizza, goldfish crackers, etc... My kids got amazing goodie bags of stuff. It was the highlight of the cruise for them!

Great..thank you for the info...it sounds like fun!! DS is normally in bed by 8pm on school nights and can stay up late on weekends. That still ends around 11 pm for him....but heck, something is better then nothing when you're on a cruise and having fun!!!

The paid babysitting is called night owls for a per hour rate, and it starts at 10pm. One night they have "fun at sea til 3" and they actually deliver your kids back to your stateroom at 3 am (I believe it is for the 9-11 age group only). This was a highlight for my daughter. It was the night before a sea day towards the end of the cruise. A leader takes them around the ship and plays games with them, she had a blast. I was ready for bed at around 1am, but we stayed up and slept in the next day, and the memories are well worth it. She got a cinch sac full of stuff like a night owl flashlight and stuffy. She also got the same cinch sac on 2 other nights when they had night owls until midnight. That time of day was her favorite time to go to camp maybe because they got more personal attention.
