Probable disruptions in public museums / sites, Oct 12 & 13

We expect some country - wide strike action, related to the public ran museums / ancient sites from the guards union, that *may* affect openings on October 12th and October 13th 2011 in Athens and rest of the country.

This can include the Acropolis site and all the adjacent to it ancient sites in Athens.

Please adjust your sightseeing days if possible or adjust daily itinerary.

Private ran museums, like the Acropolis Musem, the Benaki Museum and the Cycladic Art Museum in Athens, as shops and restaurants are not affected by this.

It's a country wide strike, i 'd expect problems in Olympia site and museum too.
