Is the dining room open on Azura on embarkation day?

No Kittyonions. Only the buffets are open on embarkation day, unless you qualify for the Peninsular Club lunch/buffet.

Sorry - re-reading this - I assume you meant for lunch. The restaurants will all be open that evening.

Yes, you are correct. I was hoping that maybe we could get some snacks in Sindu, or the Glasshouse. Anything to avoid the chaos in the buffet. Any tips you can offer?

If you are lucky enough to have an early embarkation time for an early lunch in the buffet, I don't think it will be too busy as there will be a lot of people on later embarkation times as late as 3.30 p.m.

In my experience the glasshouse does not serve food at lunchtime on embarkation day, the bar is of course open.

If you're in a suite, or are Caribbean tier or above, you can have a buffet lunch in the lounge at the stern.

Otherwise it's bring your own sandwiches, or slum it in the Snatch and Grab!

We were on Azura in June and noticed the Costa coffee place in the Atrium was open. All looked very cam in there. You have to pay for a drink but the cakes/pastries are free, may be an option if you want something light.

It is one of the tiers of the loyalty scheme that P&O has, it is unlikely that you will have it unless you cruise with P&O quite a lot.

As this is only our 2nd cruise with P and O we are way down in the pecking order on the loyalty scheme.
