Hydrofoil from Naples docks to Sorrento

Recommended Posts

Hi

I am trying to get info on a direct hydrofoil from the cruise docks in Naples into Sorrento for this summer. My daughter will be traveling on a summer Semester at Sea program, docking in Naples in July and we are meeting her in Sorrento! I am trying to get her as much info as possible before she leaves but i seem to be having difficulty with some of the links suggested to me for pre booking her a ticket or getting a time table

Can anyone who recently took this hydrofoil help me out?

Thanks in advance!

Karen

Hello! We were on a cruise in July 2006 and docked at Naples. We took the Hydrofoil from Sorrento back to the Naples port. It was absolutely no problem, you really should not need advance tickets. The area is clearly marked in Sorrento, you do have to go up/down a staircase from the port up to the city in Sorrento. But there are ticket purchase areas dockside where I think you could plan to meet. You should be able to "Google" both port of Naples and Sorrento for maps. I will see if I can find my info/link to those and post them later. Good luck it should be fine!

Our daughter was doing a study abroad in Spain that summer of 2006 and we met her there at the end of our cruise.
