Transportation POM to hotel Aloft Miami - Brickell, 1001 SW 2nd Avenue

Just wondering if there is any other type of public transportation, other than taxi, available to get from POM to our hotel Aloft Miami - Brickell, 1001 SW 2nd Avenue? Thank you.

A taxi from POM to the Mary Brickell area will cost about $13. Unless you hike a long way to Bayside (in the Miami heat :eek:) to access bus service a taxi or Uber are your best bets.

I think $13 is low ... that's for 'airport area' hotels

I'd consider Brickel to be more 'downtown area' and that will run around $22 (on the meter)

and wrt public transportation: This contemporary hotel is a 3-minute walk from the Brickell Metrorail station and a 4-minute walk from The Shops at Mary Brickell Village.

While I'm not a fan of using Metrorail in this situation (getting to a hotel in Miami), it does lower the cost to a couple of bucks

A taxi will likely be around $20.00 per taxi before tip. The actual fare will vary by time of day and traffic.

I really would just go with a taxi.
