After Cruise Activities with Airport Transfers

Our flight leaves FLL at 8pm after our cruise. We need suggestions for something to do and a way to get to the airport. All of the cruise excursions drop at the airport at 1pm.

Suggestions????

Get a day room at a hotel with a shuttle to the airport. You can play in the pool and enjoy the room without having to entertain yourself at the airport. I would however suggest the Air Boat and Gator Park excursion, it is a lot of fun! I supposed you could take that tour and get dropped at the airport and then call for pickup by the hotel shuttle.

We've done the South Beach and Everglades through the cruiseline with drop off at airport.

Since 1 PM is too early for you, you could rent a car for the day and do your own excursion.

By the way, when we've flown out of FLL, they would only take your luggage if your flight was less than 2 hours away. Had to sit in lobby with luggage until another customer said if you drop off luggage outside, they'll take if up to 4 hrs prior to your flight.

I'm not sure if this still applies or not.
