Shopping in St. Croix?

Hello- the pier area is newly designed and landscaped, I think it's lovely and hope you will too. I'm sure there will be vendors set up with various local crafts. Frederiksted has a few nice stores where you can find local-made jewelry, mahogany sculptures, etc. I'd say F'sted is really geared more towards the folks who live there, rather than day-trippers. You'll see small grocery stores, and lots of places to eat in case the ship is starving you, lol.

I personally prefer the shopping in Christiansted. I find it lively and pleasant to stroll. There are some charming shops with local jewelry, soaps, and other goods. There are some terrific stores for clothing, as well as places to find basic tees and that lot; these are not generally "local" goods.

If you want some terrific hand crafted STX things, LEAP is an option, near the ship.

I do hope this helps a bit!
