King St. Station - Seattle

I've got 3 questions regarding King St. Station in Seattle...

1. Are there luggage lockers at the station?

2. How much would cab fare from the station to the airport be? and (3) how long will it take?

King St Station is currently undergoing serious remodeling and I don't know if they have baggage storage available. Somehow I would doubt it, but it's probably worth a call to Amtrak to confirm.

Depending on time of day, a cab from the station to the airport should take around 20 minutes and cost around $25 to $30.

Yes, they have baggage storage, costs about $1 per bag. Check with the ticket agents and they can direct you. As for taxi to the airport it is about $25.00 and how long it will take depends on the hour of the day that you are traveling. If during rush hour on a work day can take upwards of 45+/- minutes (assuming no accidents or unusual traffic jams). In the middle of the day, probably less than that, if the cab is able to go all the way on the freeway and not any surface streets.

If you are traveling first class (in a sleeper) there is no charge to store your luggage at this station. It can be a long wait to get someone to open the baggage area. The only have one guy and when trains are arriving and/or departing he is busy and you'll have to wait. It took us almost an hour to check our bags two weeks ago.

How long a cab drive and cost is it from the port to Amtrak?
