Oasis Question

I'll be traveling on the Oasis this coming summer...VERY EXCITED! I was reading some reviews and they said there is no GPS/Map Channel with the ship's position and sailing information (speed, weather, etc). Is this the case or has one been put on it?

Also I understand there is no traditional Welcome Aboard Show. Is this the case? Thanks.

I can't wait to try her out!

There is no welcome aboard show or farewell show, because the entertainment on board is non-traditional and spread out all over the ship. It's not like on the other ships where you go each night to the main theatre to experience whatever is there.

But there is a Captain's welcome address in the Royal Promenade the first night. And a little presentation they put on (including Shrek characters) on sailaway party.
