If you play slots.....

What value slots do you win on most often?

I'm not a table game player. I can, but I don't find it fun or relaxing, so I don't.

I like to drop a bit into the slots, and I do ok on video poker, but I don't think I play regular slots "properly" (yes, I know it's a game of chance) to ever come out ahead.

I'm wondering if you play slots, which level ($.01, $.05, $.25, etc.) do you usually play? And do you typically do a max bet, all lines?

I have a friend who goes to Vegas quite a bit, almost always comes out ahead, and plays pennies and nickels almost exclusively. I've never even dropped a coin in either of those, because I find the boards confusing so I never know if I"m winning or losing until the bells go off and the lights flash!

So....what do you do?

When I get away from the craps and blackjack tables to play slots I almost always play the max. But I don't stay on slot machines very long.

One thing to be careful of. If you are going to hit the "Play Max" key make sure you know how much you are betting. It can be a little confusing and surprise you with the amount of the bet. So read it very carefully.

That's the thing, Grandpaul, about those penny and nickel slots. Too many pay lines! If I want to bet $3 a pull, I'll go to a single pay line $1 machine, kwim?
