Cool Movies on Celebrity Ships

Can anyone tell me how much it is to view a movie in your cabin on a celebrity S-Class ship? And What's the selection like?

Never paid for one because the selection of in-room free movies is quite good.

There are probably somewhere around 12-15 free movies available. In early January, I remember that Battleship and Prometheus were available, plus a few older films (one was White Christmas). Not a huge selection, but a few from each genre...

I never even looked at the pay movies, so can't help with that selection.

Oh I didn't realise free movies were an option in your cabin. That's reassuring thanks. But I gather there's are also a pay-per-view option. I'm sure they don't miss an opportunity to charge where they can.

There is a pay-per-view section. We had a short look, and from memory (faulty as it is), they ran about what hotels charge? $5-15 per movie? If you really want to watch, you'll pay what they ask...

We found the free selection perfectly fine, but only watch 2 movies the whole week, spaced over several days.

When you turn on your Set, navigate to the section FREE movies....

you have a good amount to choose from, and more are added as the cruise days go. The Movies that are aired in the Theater are also aired in your Room. So you do not have to be around RUDE people who have t o talk during a show.

Movies I remembered were better than a cable channel offered.

Is there a dedicated movie theatre on the Constellation? If not, where and when are movies broadcast other than the TV. I prefer watching a movie on the big screen. HAL has a great set-up with a small theatre and popcorn! All FREE

The OP asked about S class, but just for the record on M class you don't get the movie selection you get on S class (not sure why they couldn't update that when they solsticized?!?!). I do not know about Connie, but on Summit they no longer have a movie theater, nor a room to watch movies. It's your TV or nothin'. I was not happy to find that out, particularly since M class doesn't have the in-room movie selections of S class.

It appears that the Connie has a Cinema/Conference room on deck 3.
