Hello, I am asking for my parents, they will be cruising to New England and Canada on a Princess ship this year and were curious as to when is the best time of year to see the fall colors in New England.

Thanx

There is an interactive fall foliage map provided by Yankee Magazine here. For New England, the second week in October would be a good time to visit,

The best port for viewing fall foliage would be Bar Harbor because Acadia National Park is on BH's doorstep. You board an excursion bus, and within 10 minutes in are in ANP. You're not that close in any other town/city you can visit in NE.
