Flight Time Out of Tampa

I know there is always the chance things will go wrong and take much longer than planned, but is an 11:45 am flight out of Tampa possible without doing self-disembarkation after a HAL cruise?

The next flight time isn't until 5:30, and while I can hang around the airport that long, I'd really rather not.

Thanks!

ellieanne, you should know that Tampa is notorious for fog delays. The worst one I ever read of on these boards was a delay of 6 hours. I'd imagine everyone missed their flight that day. So, having said that... I have cruised into Tampa twice and it was misty and raining, but we were not fogged in, thankfully. But you should be aware that it can happen. As long as you have a Plan B in case this happens, you could book the earlier flight.

I also had to make a choice : nonstop flight at 11:45 ...... or 4:20 flight with one stop ( no plane change) ........ the 11:45 was very tempting , but after reading some comments about the fog ....... I did not want to worry about it.

I cruise in first part of dec.

Perhaps I worry too much ......
