Whale tails

Are they all the same height, some look taller.

No. They are different sizes based on the class of ship.

Basically:

Fantasy, Destiny and Conquest class whale tails "look" taller and skinnier.

Dream and Splendor class whale tails "look" shorter and stockier.

Spirit class whale tails are also shorter, but with much of the red portion being see through glass.

The too tall tail is why Tampa has only Fantasy and Spirit class ships--so they can go under the Skyway bridge. Used to have Spirit.....
