Earliest Flight Home from Vancouver

What is the earliest departure flight I should consider for a flight back to the US? On HAL debarking Vancouver

Nothing before noon.

Last time we went we did self disembark, took a taxi, checked bags and were waiting for our plane by 10am. Would have been great if United remembered to schedule pilots that day. (sigh) Gotta love that.

There were no hiccups that day, aside from the whole United pilot scheduling issue...but I still probably wouldn't book anything before 11:30/12pm.

Not sure if this is helpful, but rather than making a dash for the airport, we got a hotel for the night on Granville Island with a 1PM departure the next day. Get up...have leisurely breakfast, go to airport, get through all the security lines, and then hang out and relax while waiting to leave.

Hopefully there's a nice coffee shop or something (or several) inside the secure area at Vancouver airport.
