Near dock

Any shopping or sights to see in easy walking distance of cruise ship dock?

We are dealing with some mobility issues (uses a cane).

Also, we are not interested in beaches or snorkeling, more interested in shopping, sights (history, art), restaurants (good native food) and relaxing and people watching.

There is a shopping just as you get of the ship, you will have to walk thru it to get out. Also some local small store keepers on the back of the mall. Fort George is about a block away, but uphill could be hard with a cane. Has a great view from up there. Carenage harbor is four blocks away, one of the most beautiful

views around. A better option if you don't want to walk and see those sites, there is a small shuttle train that will take you to those sites, You can get on it just outside the mall, bright yellow and cost about $20.00.
