Imagination - Just returned.....

Just got home from the 2/5/05 5 day sailing on the Imagination, will be posting a full review but briefly.....

Embarkation was a breeze due to the Fun Pass Pre Boarding info. Ship is in great condition, very clean and well maintained. Casino was very kind to me...:D

Entertainment overall was excellent! I would have to say that of all the Carnival Cruises I have taken the staff on this ship were overwhelmingly friendly and accomodating!

Food was very good and the ports of call were enjoyable, however Grand Cayman is still showing some signs of rebuilding. Having been to Cayman in the past, it was very noticable that they were hit really badly with the hurricane, with a very obvious lack of greenery and vegetation. My cab driver said it may take 2-3 years to fullly recover.

I will be going on this ship shortly. What kind of a stateroom did you have. We have a Cat. 12 suite and are looking for some pictures of it. Glad you had a great time and hope everything goes as good for us when we sail.

I was in a Interior on Empress Deck, E33, but have been in a cat 12 on one of the sisters (Inspriation). The cat 12 is roomy compared to a standard stateroom, but my experience was that it was a little dated and showing some wear. I still would not complain about the creature comforts, walk in closet, large private balcony, sitting area as well as the refrigerator.
