Marriott Day Pass Reservations?

Does anyone know if we need to make reservations for day passes at the Marriott? There are 10 people in our party, including 2 children.

Would like to know as well.

I've read conflicting info and the hotel's own website doesn't even mention day passes for cruisers (I guess they wouldn't).

They told me via email we did not require reservations. If you are going in peak season, I would confirm they will still offer the day passes.

I wrote to them a week ago and they said:

"If you do the day pass, you can just check-in with the front office upon arrival. The cost of the day pass is $35.00 USD per person."

I also had asked them about a Day Room. I heard it was $125 for the room. I wanted to see if there was tax on top of that. Here is what they said:

"The day room would be $125.00 USD plus 24.5% tax and service charge. The total would come to $155.63 USD. To guarantee availability, we do ask that you confirm your reservation in advance. "

Can anyone comment on the condition of the beach/water.

The Marriott is located on North Frigate Bay. This is on the Atlantic side of the island. The waters can be rough. There are several breakwaters in front of the facility to help with the rough seas.
