Carnival Pride - Pool slide

I heard that the water slide had been removed from the Pride last month and was wondering if the new one had been installed yet? Anyone been on the Pride recently? :) Thanks!

Just got off yesterday. The slide is gone! BTW, the pool where the slide was is now a adult only pool, no kids allowed.

The Pride slide never ended in a pool, that was part of the problem (not enough room to slow down.) It just ended in a straight section of half-tube, a deck above the aft pool, which has always been adults only. (see my pictures from January at http://ronrythm.com/Carnival_Pride_06_2.html) The slide situation is well sidcussed on the Carnival forum, including http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=349427. Still no definite date on when the new one will be installed, just "summer"
