We are traveling one day early for our sailing and need to get to Galveston on April 5, we are not getting the DCL transfer due to a early flight. It leaves at 1250 and they want you to leave at 130. can any help. I think the best bet will have to be a taxi or town car. Does anyone have any thoughts on the matter?

I don't really understand your question. Are you asking about returning for a 12:50 flight home? You also said something about getting in a day early, so I am a bit confused.
Galveston is difficult because the one way car rentals are pricey and very limited, and because both Hobby and IAH are a good distance away, taxis and town cars are pricey. Which airport are you flying into? Go to the Gulf Port departures board to read some possible suggestions. We are sharing Super Shuttle with two other families we met on the Roll Call board for our sailing. It ending being only $40 pp R/T from our hotel in Houston to the port and back to the airport.
