supershuttle in San Francisco

Can someone tell me if you can just get a super shuttle at airport and pier instead of reserving?

I'm used to LA and they are just outside of terminal and pier.

At the airport, but I wouldn't expect them to just be there at the port.

I know at San Pedro, they are just across the street when you come out of building.

We picked one up at the airport outside the departure level on an island. At the port we picked one up outside the terminal but we had pre-arranged a pick-up, though others had not and had no problem getting one.

Just a note, it took us an hour and half to travel the distince on both arrival and departure days. They did not take a direct route and crammed boxes and suitcases in the back which kept sliding forwarding and hitting our heads. It was not a pleasant trip and we will not be taking them again.

I'm surprised, I use them all the time cruising out of LA. Never had a complaint.

Airport yes at the port no you need to reserve that one.

For a party of 2 or more, I think it's worth it to just Uber it. It's not going to be that much more to Uber (maybe even less if you have 3-4)...
