Which port is it possible to go Hot Air Balloon riding In Australia ? THANKS Marty

Most hot air ballooning is a Dawn experience, and your ship usually hasn't docked early enough.

There is a lot of activity in the Hunter Valley, but I don't know of any cruises that dock early enough to get them.

Is there a cruise ship port near by ??

Newcastle.

I'd suggest arrive a few days early in Sydney, spend a day or two in the Hunter Valley (a wine and tourist area) and do a flight one morning, Baloons Aloft are great. You might even get to wave to Mrs Gut as they often land in the paddock of her school.

I'm fairly sure you could do hot air balloon flights from most capital cities in Australia. Melbourne probably having the most to choose from in the inner city. But they usually depart before dawn, so it is unlikely you would be able to do one during a cruise unless you had a rare overnight stay. Before or after a cruise shouldn't be a problem. Maybe check out cruises of interest and then google balloon rides for that embark/debark port.
