I don't understand why this outbreak is any different than any other. It makes no difference whether the ship is new or old. The virus is brought on board by a person and passed around on hands, door handles, etc. etc.

You make a great point.... But Cunard ships always do attract more exaggerated attention for things that literally go unnoticed elsewhere...so perhaps that's why this was such big news!
