Aurora World Cruise 2017 - a few photos

Hi everyone

As I have been absent from the boards since I joined Aurora in January I though I'd post a few photos of where we have been so far.

Sorry they are very low resolution but am uploading from Indian Ocean!

These are; Siq to Petra, Omani camel, The old souk in Muscat

These are; The Dhobi Ghat in Mumbai, Houseboats and daily life in the Kerala Backwaters, Temple elephants at Hindu festival, Man walking cow up central reservation of dual carriageway in Sri Lanka, Mother and baby Spinner dolphin, gem-cutter in Sri Lanka, Clan Jetties in Penang, Floating temple in Bali

What an amazing cruise and experience. They are wonderful photos, thank you for sharing them.

There has been a lot more entertainment on this world cruise than on a normal one. Obviously not all will appeal to everyone. Speakers so far have included Michael Buerk, Captain Martin Reed, Jane Robinson, Sir Robin Knox Johnson & Martin Roberts (!). Good mix of classical and modern singers/groups etc. One or two comedians inc. Maurice Grumbleweed, a magician and mind reader. As it is marking P&O 180th anniversary the talks have been linked with P&O history or places they visited. There is also Clive Catchpole on now talking about animals.

Wow, you have some great speakers there. I must admit P&O and Cunard do book top quality enrichment entertainment on their world cruises. Last year we had Nicky Chapman who was absolutely fabulous, both on stage and on a 121 basis around the ship. Please keep us updated :)
