Default Collecting from ship for me

My post has been removed and I assume it was because of my request, but can't find this in the rules, so before re-posting I wanted to clarify the rules.

I am asking if someone can buy something for me off one of the cruises and post it out to me when they get back.

Can someone confirm if this type of post is allowed?

Thanks

Howdy headcoat!

Welcome to the Need Help Using The Boards? Ask Here! Forum where members find the "How to ..." type of information for using Cruise Critic's software such as thread subscriptions, avatars, signatures, countdown clocks, etc. However, your post is off-topic here as well as being a violation of the Guidelines we all agreed to follow when registering for our free membership. Your post concerns the management of the Cruise Critic message board and a removed solicitation post.

Please note the following from the Management of this Community section in the Guidelines:

Discussion of our management policies and procedures -- including post deletions-- is considered off-topic discussion for our cruise boards and will be removed without notice. All decisions regarding any action taken by management shall remain final.

Cruise Critic has the right to exercise and apply our guidelines at any level we see fit, at our sole discretion, at any time.
If you have comments or concerns regarding the management of this community, please address them to: community@cruisecritic.com.

Please note the following from the Announcement at the top of the forums titled Have a question about Cruise Critic? Need info on our Community Guidelines? Please write to us at community@cruisecritic.com:

If you have questions, comments, concerns regarding management of these forums please address them to us at: community@cruisecritic.com rather than posting on the forums...

Your post here should be removed at once without notice since posts regarding the management of the Cruise Critic message board and a removed post is not allowed on any forum. However, I am closing this thread instead. That way you can see this reply and maybe take time to re-read the following portion from the Forum Registration Agreement you clicked when registering for membership:

If you have any questions about how our community is moderated, please address them to our Community Manager via e-mail at community@cruisecritic.com. Please do not post on the boards.

I sincerely hope this information will be helpful, even though it is not the type of reply you were expecting.

Take care,

Kat
