Love Mike Pack! Second place goes to Matt Mitcham. My least favorite was Goose. Hopefully he's not a CD anymore, but he just annoyed me and I didn't care for the way he interacted with people.

I have only been on 3 cruises and all 3 cruise directors - Matt Mitcham, Malcolm Burn, and Emma Nixon - have all been fabulous!

My vote goes to the CD with laryngitis! Carnival has the loudest, most intrusive and long winded CD's of all the cruise lines I've sailed on!

I didn't realize the difference until I sailed other lines.

Ha Ha. Like button.

I was going to say, "Who cares?!" Who is going to be CD doesn't enter into my decision making for which cruise I'm taking. And the CD doesn't make of break my cruise experience. However, Butch B (no longer around) and Jaime D.(who "interned" under Butch) were two of the better CDs I've had.

Agreed. I was going to say the best one is the one who I see only if I attend an event he/she is hosting. Why oh why must Carnival CD's feel the need to remind us 50 times a day about the next event happening? A significant proportion of us can in fact read.

We returned home from the Conquest on Saturday and loved Hailey Mac. She's funny, talked to my wife like no one else mattered at the time and was everywhere.

We cruised with Mike Pack once and he's a super guy, Dr. E was hilarious at sail away and the muster, but it got old quick.

Frankie on the Liberty was also really a super host, as was Marcello.

My favorite is one that doesn't interrupt a quality nap after my morning exercise on sea days!

Eric will be my next CD. I was hoping no one will say he is their least favorite. . I researched him and he seemed entertaining with his magic tricks. I hope I don't have the bad feeling about him as you do.

I was hoping for Matt and Cookie but I guess I have to travel on the Vista to get them. Not interested in Vista though. I am thinking about the Breeze.

Didn't go to his shows, but I didn't like him on deck with the activities, and he kept piping in announcements all times of the day and night. "The voice from above" was a serious thorn in my side. Even the entertainment staff and crew didn't care for him as much as Mike Pack. They really missed him.

My favorite so far was Chloe Loddo on the Splendor. She was genuine and so adorable. We loved her! Second favorite was Felipe Couto, had him on the Valor on our first cruise, but it was actually Hugo Hidalgo, who was the entertainment director on that cruise that we saw more and interacted with. He was awesome!

Our least favorite was Classy Cassie. She filled in for Felipe on our Liberty cruise while he attended a CD conference. We were extremely disappointed with that change and with her. Maybe she's not really that bad, but we were looking forward to Felipe and she wasn't him. And Hugo wasn't there. I didn't really care for the Entertainment Director of that cruise...can't even remember his name.

Does anyone know why some cruises have just a CD and others have both a CD and Entertainment Director? If you look at JH's CD schedule some of the ships have both but not that many, and it doesn't seem to be based on the size of the ship either. I've just always been curious...

Matt Mitcham is by far our favourite. Can't wait to see him again on Saturday for our next cruise!!!

We've also like Dr E. And many moons ago on Royal we really liked Richard Spacey on Adventure of the Seas.
