Even the entertainment staff and crew didn't care for him as much as Mike Pack. They really missed him.
That's one of the biggest complaint on the Glory; the constant announcement.

Rev Dr. E, favorite by a mile.
Cruised with Malcolm when he was assistant, would love to sail with him as CD. He was a great assistant.
Eric is the worse, surprised he is still around.

On the cruises I have been on, I didn't really know who the CD was. They didn't stand out (to me personally) Our honeymoon cruise we took in May 2016, was so much fun. And I saw Malcom everywhere. He always interacted with people and he made things really fun.

In my high pitched Malcom voice C'mere!!

After 20 cruises there are only two cruise directors' name that I liked enough to remember - John Heald many years ago on the Triumph and Chris The Flying Scotsman on the Sunshine however he's moving to the Dream. This guy does events in the atrium, dances on the bar, dressed up as Tina Turner right down to wearing pumps that I wonder how he got his feet into. Has his own one-man show which is excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed Chris. Going in the Magic in July and according to John Heald's page it says it's someone like Everson Bellvel or something like that. Anyone know of him?

Some people do care and it does affect their cruise. If you don't care, that is fine. Why even bother to read the OP's post if you don't care? Just move on to other ones that do interest you.

Given our five different cruises, I really could not relate to any CD on the ship until I was on the Dream the last time. Brandon K was very good. We spent two weeks on the ship, and Brandon did not do the same thing twice. I got to talk to Brandon a few times during the cruise. He was getting off the ship the same time our B2B cruise ended to get married.

I do not remember his name but the CD on the Dream for the 2015 Cruise had the best Muster Station drill of all. He used several different characters to do the drill. That was about the only interaction I remember with him.

The only way to cruise is unplugged:
  • No computer, phone, or watch.
  • If its light out...its daytime.
  • If its dark out... its nighttime.
  • If you are in port and the ship is gone... YOU'RE LATE!

I was hoping for Matt and Cookie but I guess I have to travel on the Vista to get them. Not interested in Vista though. I am thinking about the Breeze.

Eric so much fun. I've been on the Glory with him twice. Maybe because I'm younger like him, I enjoyed him? He was so sassy and very attentive. He was always on the Lido or at the night club. Don't be afraid, he's one of my favorites!
