Bar Harbor to Southwest Harbor - enough time??

In Bar Harbor we currently have a private excursion booked with Sail Acadia from 12:30 - 3:30. The sail leaves out from Dysart's Great Harbor Marina

11 Apple Lane, Southwest Harbor, Maine. Mapquest says it takes about 25 minutes to get back to the tender port, but with the last tender leaving at 4:30 I'm a little worried that we won't make it in time. Is anyone familiar with the area that could tell me if this is a non-busy road? We would be taking a cab back to the port. Thanks!

When is your visit?

The roads between Bar Harbor and Southwest Harbor are 2 lane state roads, and would only be crowded if visiting during peak fall foliage, or during the summer. There is one stop light and no stops signs until you reach Bar Harbor.

If visiting during peak fall foliage, Bar Harbor will be packed.

If the taxi is waiting for you at the end of the sail, it might work but I wouldn't take the chance. What is the next port of call after BH?
