Closest beach by taxi

Can anyone suggest a nice beach to take from Amber cove port by taxi?!

They say Sousa is beautiful but he took us to some resort in puerto plata maybe 15 min ride it was amazing can't remember the name outside the port carnival has a booth set up we did a tour of city for 29 then he took us to that resort they may know the name of it great cheap food and drinks beds included in beach
