Flight times.

I was wondering what time do you typically leave Tahiti and arrive back in LA? trying to figure what time I need to book ourLA to PHX flight?

You aren't going to have a ton of choice. It seems the ship is in port the night before, so you can fly on disembarkation morning, you just have to be up and off very early.

We've decided to spend the extra night rather than hustle off at 4:00 am.

Depends on the carrier.

Air France leaves in the morning around 9:00 am. The ship does make arrangements to have a taxi PU up early and take you to the airport. If you allow the ship to arrange for the taxi they allow it to drive right up to the gangway. If you call a taxi your self they are not allowed to enter the gated area so you need to drag your bags to the parking lot. There is a small charge for this extra service.

ATN flys out to LAX between 9:50 pm & 11:50 pm depending on the day.

Couple related questions. When leaving LA on ATN, what time does ATN open up so we can drop off bags? Our flight leaves around 11:40pm.

If we leave the night prior to disembarkation, sounds like a taxi is our only option. How can we arrange that and does anybody have a rough idea how much it will cost?

3 - 4 hours prior. No set time but that is the norm.

Ask the carcierge desk when your on the ship 24 hours prior. If I recall they charge a $50 fee to set it up plus the cost of he taxi which you will pay directly. Taxi cost are double after dark. Figure $80 - $90 total.

You can also call a taxi your self but as stated above they aren't allowed to enter gated area, only if you have the ship do it will the taxi be allowed to enter the gated area.

Last two trips it was three hours before the flight everything opened up but lines form well in advance and if you want to try to upgrade better get there at least 4 hours ahead.
