Transportation From Norfolk To Newport?

Take a cab to the Norfolk airport, fly to Providence, then take a van shuttle to Newport.

If however, you mean Newport News, Virginia, then I would recommend that you look on the Norfolk airport website to see what local transportation options are detailed. Here's the link for you.

I would assume the first poster meant Newport News and not Newport, RI. If you are spending any time in NN, then I would recommend renting a car as a shuttle could get you there from Norfolk, but you will need a car to get around and see any sites (Mariners Museum, War Memorial, Virginia Living Museum, etc.). I live in NN for a decade so if you have any questions, feel free to ask. It is about 30 minutes (barring any beach traffic) from Norfolk to Newport News.
