Buying Aquapasses for Atlantis without the cruise line

Has anyone had experience (good or bad) with buying Aquapasses for Atlantis from Bahamas Day Pass and not through the cruise line? I'm a little nervous to do it but the price difference is considerable and I don't like to feel I'm being gouged. Thanks!
