Aft-rooms Empress Deck on the Imagination

First off, I just wanted to say that we had a wonderful cruise. It was very relaxing and other than the disappointment in the menu selection, it was just like our other cruises.

I mainly wanted to start this post just to inform future passengers of a potential problem.

We had E257 - one of the aft facing oceanview rooms. We loved the location. There was a stairwell that lead straight up to the serenity deck. It made for bathroom breaks in our cabin a breeze.

However, on the deck above us (Atlantic), there are two private open areas that are utilized by crew members for smoke breaks. The area is behind the Spirit Main Dining Room. Every time we entered our room, we noticed a faint hint of cigarette smoke. I thought maybe someone was trying to sneak a few hits in the cabins. I did not notice the open area until the 2 day and realized that about 15-20 of the crew are out on this open smoking at any given time. Some how, their smoke is coming into the aft rooms on the Empress deck.

So just beware about these rooms.
