Puntarenas and Tortuga Island

I was wondering if there are any tours to Tortuga Island available when you get off the ship. I have found Calypso Tours, but their timetable doesn't fit our port time. We are in port from 8am-5pm . They don't arrive back to port till 5pm. Would there possibly be some other tour operators that would get us to the island and back ?

I know this is an old thread, but does anyone have any info to add?

I have been looking for the same thing, but everyone including Calypso tells me that we would miss the ship. Hope someone can give us both a helping hand.:D

FYI, we have not yet traveled, but I did find a company that the times are right, but when I read reviews of Tortuga Island in general and read about it being crowded and people almost being hit by boats while snorkeling, I decided to go with the guy's other option of San Lucas Island. Which is a tour of the prison and beach time. I am choosing including lunch for $60 p/p.
