In mid-April the RCI website listed D1 cabins as 173 sq. feet. Now the website lists the same cabins as 202 sq. feet. Bad measuring or
new marketing?

I don't know if this is the answer, but I do know that RCCL changed the categories around toward the end of April. When I booked my Mariner cruise, BPC had two different deck plans showing before April?? and after. This may be the reason

They might just being given the combined sq. ft. of the room and the balcony. They used to split the two up. Not sure though.
