Bay of islands tours?

We spent a week in the beautiful bay of islands about 10 years ago and now we are going back on our cruise next April.

What tours do you recommend that we do?

Do they still have the fast jet boats going out to the hole in the rock?

Also noted that the port has a laundromat! Not that spending the day washing is an option.

sure do, were the shuttle drops you off in town there is a tourist info with all the local tours.

The jet boat was a highlight last time we were there. My son would love it.

The ferry across to Russell from Pahia is always nice or the Waitangi treaty grounds

We really enjoyed the Cruise Shore Tour with http://www.bayofislands.tours

It's about 5 hours long and you get to see all of the highlights in the area.

Small private local company, great price - priority at all the stops so you don't have to try and navigate through the hundreds of people. The Glow Worm caves were awesome. Great for the family.
