Beaches and Taxis

Can anyone recommend some nice beaches, and I am interested in how much would it cost to get there there by taxi and water taxi. Also are there taxis waiting by the beach area? I need at least a few people to confirm if there are taxis waiting outside the beach area because someone told me on this message board there were taxis waiting outside el morrow in san juan PR and there were absolutely none! We were lucky someone doing a cab tour agreed to take us back to the port

We went to Magazine beach and hung out by the Aquarium restaurant. Don't recall the price but you'd definitely need to pre arrange a pick up time there (although they might be able to call for you).

Most people went to Grand Anse. You could take a water taxi for a few dollars or a land taxi. I read that with the water taxi's you'd have to wade ashore a bit. I've heard that beach is beautiful, but that the vendors are a bit bothersome. Magazine beach was very quiet and just a few people there.
