I'm glad that I don't go thru life with my glass half empty.

Huh??

You have surely made a huge assumption about my life philosophy based on what? I actually believe that the glass is half full with liquid and half full with air = Always Full! :)

I have lived in Las Vegas for 40 years, and two of my sons work for IGT (International Game Technology)...one of them is a software engineer and develops slot machines (you've probably played some of the machines he has developed) and the other maintains slot systems (he's even worked on Royal Caribbean ship doing upgrades on their machines...he's currently in South Africa working on the system of a huge casino there.

So, if you want to believe someone who knew someone who owned a casino in the 1950's and 1960's that there are ways to beat the slots over someone who actually knows someone who makes and maintains slot machines RIGHT NOW in 2014, have go! Good luck to you!

For me, I will stay away from the ship casinos...no regulations = no rights to the players. Not my thing.

Thank you for your insight, knowledge don't let posters get you wound up. Some times we get a little to big for our milk box LOL :):). It would be awesome if we new exzact ways to beat the house. It should be play in entertainment not breaking the house.

  • 2 weeks later...

Just wanted to add my two cents to the so-called "loosening" and "tightening" of machines. If you want to "loosen" or "tighten" a machine, you have to physically go into the machine, remove a computer board and then change out a computer chip on the board. The chip holds all the information on what the payouts will be. That's the only way to change the "hold %".
