Shore Excursions

Does anyone know if you can cancel a shore excursion once you have booked and paid for it? We are going on the Tahiti cruise in July and want to book some excursions that might get sold out, but was wondering if we could cancel them at a later time if we decide we are overbooked and just want to hang out on the boat/beach.

In the past on other cruises, you can cancel on board and they just credit your on board account. I don't know if it is different now or not.

Probably best to contact Windstar and ask them this question. If they say no problem cancelling good idea to get name of person you are speaking to for reference incase of any misunderstanding later on. :rolleyes:

Yes , but talk to the Purser rather than the shore excursion person.

24 hours in advance, with no problem.

Racer is right. We always book most of our shore excursions before we leave home but on many occasions we have canceled before we went on them. They usually require 24 hour notice and then credit your shipboard account. Also, if they do not have enough people signed up they will cancel the excursion and you are SOL.
