regarding Reversing Falls, Bay of Fundy-

For those of you who have done this:

Our upcoming cruise is set to dock at 5:30 am-- At 8:00 we will be meeting Dave's Taxi tour guys for a "St. Martin's, Fundy Trail tour---

On that day, supposedly at 6:01 is low tide? at 8:52 is no movement?

At 11 :55 is high tide, I think- then at 3:04 no movement again. I put question marks because on the site it used words EB, Slack, and Flood-- so this is my interpretation which could be wrong.

Anyway, would it be worth our while to get off the ship as soon as we are docked, grab a taxi to get us to a viewing spot (long walk, but I want to save the time so I can grab a quick breakfast back on the ship before tour.) Take a quick look, then take taxi back to ship?

Or will we see the same thing anyway when we get in our 8:00 taxi tour and head straight to the reverse tides, as it isn't supposed to change until 8:52 any way-- (we would have plenty of time to get there before the "slack" time) Thanks for opinions. (I'm hoping the answer is that we would see the same thing anyway, so no need to get up super early!
