Default Jewel aft mini suite for 2014 cruise

We are looking at booking a 7 day western caribbean 2014 cruise on the Jewel. Has anyone stayed in the aft mini suites recently? We are looking at possibly 11656, but would love to hear suggestions on others as well. Thanks.

Personaly I try to book on the ends . It eliminates one neighbor and gives you a glance around the side

We just returned from the Jewel in room 11150. These rooms have tons of storage. We didn't use all of it on a 12 day cruise where I brought way too many things. Just know that you are under the Great Outdoors and that occasionally there is the noise of dragging chairs and tables overhead. this was not a big problem but it does happen FYI. We had a sweetheart of a room steward and enjoyed our minisuite very much.

I didn't think of an end room and having additional privacy and a chance to see around the corner. Thanks! Also, it looks like 11150 is an end room and love the thought of having additional storage. So, we will definitely book an end room.

I've read about the Great Outdoors being above and glad to see it's not too much of a problem. Thank you both for your input. We appreciate it since this is our first cruise and are learning as we go.

Hateswaterloves2cruise...a question on room 11150. Since the room is on the end, is the layout the same as the other mini suites? Also, I understand some of the mini suites have a curtain and other don't. Can you tell me if 11150 has one, please? Thanks.

We had 11656 on Jade for a Med cruise and loved it--great sunsets while heading east and beautiful sunrises heading back to Barcelona. We had an aft SF on deck 10 on Pearl that was on the port side--quietest cabin we ever sailed in. I don't think you can go wrong with an aft cabin.

One deck 11 aft you can hear the early morning cleaning crew at the Outdoor Cafe rearranging tables and chairs and scrubbing the deck. It's not loud but you will notice it on occasion.
