Bummer - have flu, probably canceling our breeze cruise

Hi All

Just to report back, the Carnival insurance that we paid for came through with 3 reimbursement checks in our mailbox yesterday. The checks paid for our cancelled 6 day Dec 30 Breeze cruise. It was a pretty straight forward process in getting reimbursed as long as my doctor filled out the necessary form that explained my sickness.

btw, Southwest allowed us to cancel our flights from Dec and reapply the credits to our Spring Break flights. So, no loss in our canceled flight. Sweet. Their only policy that we had to keep in mind is that we had to use the Southwest credits within a year after original purchase. I bought the flights Jul '12 so we had until Jul '13 to use the Southwest credits.

Now, we have the Spring Break Breeze 8 day 3/30 cruise to look forward to.

I had to cancel last year & was able to rebook 2 months later.. It sucked but I'm so glad we didn't go as I was extremely ill & it wouldn't have been any fun. I was really ready for the rebooked cruise by the time I got to go... We also met some cc peeps & had an amazing time!

8 more days till I sail the breeze..

Yes good catch. It will be 8 instead of 6 days. We can't wait.

Karen as a teacher and the flu outbreak that says a lot. (Gee I didn't look before posting my lap top shut down during posting hope I didn't post already.) I think we are very deficient in nutrients what good soil have we got left, floods, droughts etc. This year will be a tough one on food products/prices also!

I think we are in need a many suppliments they don't put in Multiple vit. You have to swallow all day to get what's needed. I prefer gummie vits. so I do the usual via gummies and cal. via antacids!

Glad you're keeping well, all you can do is give your testimony and hope they heed the good advice. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink!

Glad you got a cruise to look forward too again. It's gotta stink... you look forward to a cruise for so long and then suddenly you're sick and can't go. I have a cold/sinus infection right now, and this thread has convinced me to get some D3(we have C)..... don't want the same situation for our end of February Inspiration cruise.
