Alaska, here we come!

Hi All,

First cruise to Alaska. Doing the land tour from July 5-8 and then boarding Star Princess on 8th. We have a port side balcony heading Southbound, and really know nothing about what to expect. Did we pick "right side"? How is the Star Princess? Please let me know any secrets, anything that will make me more comfortable. A bit overwhelmed. Thank you all in advance. :)

Hi Deb, there isn't a right side or wrong side when having a balcony, just got off the Radiance Ots, an had a balcony on the port side, it makes no difference. You will have a wonderful time.

No worries about which side you are on.

Having sailed Alaska many times I don't worry about the side I am on.

My best views come from being out and about on the outdoor deck.

Find the roll call for your cruise to meet your fellow cruisers. We're also going in July, in an inside cabin. We'll spent all our time roaming the decks. There is no wrong side, enjoy your cruise.
