:DHi folks....flying down to FLL on Wednesday afternoon and sailing on

Thursday:)..its only 4 nights but going on Celebrity's newest ship,

"EQUINOX". As large as she is, she will be small compared to the OASIS

which will be in port at the same time....THAT is ONE BIG SHIP:eek:

Anyway, I am excited:D:):D

Fooey..why can't they let you edit a title...Thursday should be capitalizied!

The title has been corrected.

You should be able to correct a post title. After you click the Edit button within your 20 minute time limit and the screen appears, click the Go Advanced button. The next screen should allow you to correct the title. When done, click the Save Changes button.

Well... at least that's how it works for me!

  • 2 weeks later...

Hi Darcie:) I know you sail a few different lines. After going on

Crystal won't X be a bit of step down?......Solstice is really large,

especially compared to Crystal. Aren't their ships much smaller?

That will be quite a change for you.

You know Lois, that's not really the case for me. I go on other lines knowing and accepting that those lines won't be Crystal. I love Celebrity and all that line has to offer. This past February, I cruised on RCI with my college alumni group on one of their behemoth ships---larger than what Solstice is---and while there were some disappointments, I still had fun. Yes, the food was not at all good and the service was not close to what I experience on Celebrity or Crystal, but it was still a good time. It's what you make of the cruise, I guess.

And yes, Crystal's ships are smaller than Celebrity---they carry only 940 passengers on ships that are about 54,000 ton. But Celebrity is still great in what they offer, and I grab a chance to cruise on her ships any time I can.
