Default Key West Port

We are doing the Eastern Caribbean in March 2013 and have family meeting us in Key West. My question is, does Carnival use a specific port in Key West? If more than one is used are they close to one another? The family is trying to book hotel rooms close to the port. Thanks for your help.

There is only one port , but two piers one by Mallory Square & the Navy Pier is on a naval base right next to it . the only difference is you get trammed over to the square if you dock at the navy pier ,, hope this helps

Most ships use the Mallory Square pier in the city center. Imagination uses the Outer Mole pier at the Navy base, and shuttles you to an area near the city center. I'm pretty sure you will not be on the Imagination, since it doesn't go to Eastern Caribbean, so have your family meet you at Mallory Square. (Excluding, of course, last-minute changes outside yours or Carnival's control.)

Photo shows how close you are if docked at the square.

Try the Hyatt or the Westin - both are incredible hotels with great views, walking distance to Mallory Square - and beautiful facilities.

Here is a link to the port schedule at Key West.

http://www.keywestcity.com/departmen...asp?fDD=13-192

(A) Mallory Square

(B) Next to Mallory Square

(OM) Outter Mole. On the Navy Base, a shuttle will take you to and from Old Town
