Well somebody's gotta post SOMETHING!

My Christmas present - I wanted something tropical and this is what I got. She now resides on the dirty window sill at work, shaking it when the sun comes up.

Had to wait until nicer weather to go to the track.

Both horse and jockey seemed to be OK, although they did take the jockey off in an ambulance.

Thanks. A lot of it was luck. I had my camera set to take 10 shot bursts - 2 shots per second. So during a race I waited until the horses got close and just held the shutter down. The horses were quarter horses - it doesn't take long for them to run a quarter mile. I didn't realize the one horse had fallen until I came out from behind my camera.

We've had some fairly cold weather over the last couple of weeks but today (Sunday) it was sunny and pleasant. I managed to capture this blue tit, it looks rather dishevelled after the cold snap.

Pretty kitties. I want that little Jaguar cub.

These weekly photo threads have so many beautiful photos and it never get old. Thanks for posting them fellow CC members. :D

Back to Disneyland for the first time this year. We pause for a moment to consider all that this man's imagination has given to children of all ages.

He may be disheveled, but he is adorable.

Finally got a chance at home to go to the wetlands and test the new e-mount lens on my mirrorless camera - my FE70-200mm F4 OSS G lens - nice and sharp and fast for tracking quick moving subjects:

Duh - don't know why I said Jaguar. Especially since Cheetahs are my 2nd favorite big cat - after tigers. :) I think I was still on my 1st cup of coffee.

Rehearsal was slightly delayed, so I drove a few miles onwards and caught the setting sun at Loch Lubnaig
