Default OBC Happy Dance

I have seen some negative postings about recieving price drop OBCs and wanted to post about my experience.

I realized on Monday that the price of my cruise has dropped (Valor 12/13). I booked ES so I called Customer Service to see what needed to be done to get the OBC. The professional on the phone told me that it wasn't a price drop and we went back and forth. I finally said thank you and decided to see what other options there were.

I found a link to the Carnival Form and I submitted my price drop claim. Today I recieved an email that it was approved and we now have a $120 OBC. It made my day. So for those who call and are unable to get an answer try submitting the form online.

Happy Thanksgiving and Cruising to all

Congrats, I have found the ES program to be working just fine. Two substantial price drops and had my credit back within two days for each of them.

If possible could you please post that link where you found the form?

And Congrats on the OBC.

It seems they make it hard to find on the website. I am sure there is another way but this is how I have found it. (So far it has worked good for me. I am waiting on my second confirmation I sent in last night)

Go to Carnival website. Scroll dow a bit and on the left side it will say "SHOP", Click on "view details" under early saver
Where it says Our early saver rocks click on "price protection"
Scroll down and click on "price protection claim form"

I hope this helps.

The form:

my 3 day cruise has dropped in price $40/pp in the last week. Can't wait to take a look and see what the turkey brings...
