Suite Dining

This June, my husband and I will have our first "suite" experience on the Quest. Can someone tell me if reservations are required in specialty restaurants for suite guests? I'm assuming yes, but we will be traveling with relatives who like to live a bit more spontaneously and it would be nice to know of going without a reservation is an option.

Also....Are reservations hard to get if you don't sign up on the first night?

We too will be experiencing a suite this May/June on the Quest. Ours is a Club Continent and the link may help you answer a few questions. Without doubt we are looking forward to the extra benefits!

Often depends on the cruise. On our Mediterranean cruise where we were in port late most nights, we were able to get reservations the same day. On our Caribbean cruise, the specialty restaurants were booked for all week after the first day. We made our reservations upon boarding for our Panama Canal cruise but there were empty tables around us most nights.

You should plan to make reservations.

I'd suggest on Embarkation Day you reserve one night for each restaurant, Aqualina and Prime C. Then you'll have a couple Specialty Restaurant nights to look forward to.

And if it turns out you want to change the reservation(s) to another date, or go additional nights, you can ask, but at least you whole group has two nights reserved.
