We rented a 4 wheel drive suv and would like to visit shete boka. we also would like some beach time at playa porto Mari or some other beautiful beach. Would it be smarter to go to the beach in the morning then after lunch go to shete boka? Or the other way around shete boka then beach for lunch till we leave? We will be the only ship in port from 8-6. Any advice would be appreciated!

My advice would be to visit Shete Boka first before it gets too hot. Then afterwards you can go cool off at the beach. Since you have a car, on your way back to Porto Marie, stop at Knip Bay for a photo op and a swim at our most gorgeous beach.

Knip is a public beach and is free. There are no amenities, though. So you can stop at any minimarket on the way and purchase snacks and drinks to take with you.

I don't know which day of the week you will be in port, but if it's on a Sunday, Knip will be PACKED.

Shete Boka should not take more than 2 or 2.5 hours.
