Fort King George is a 15 minute up hill walk, according to the information the Department of Tourism provided me. It was very hot the day we were there. We took a taxi. :p Actually, we negotiated with the taxi driver to take us to Fort King George for photo ops before taking us to Pigeon Point.

The views from the fort are really nice.

Thanks for the info and great photos. We thought it would be a nice walk. After seeing your Pigeon Point photos I think we will be going there.

Thanks again:)

You are most welcome. You will not be sorry if you go to Pigeon Point - it is beautiful! Swimming in the Nylon Pool was really cool too - something I never imagined I would get to do.

You did the right thing, having the taxi save you the uphill slog!

Walking in these islands always seems like a good idea

until you get there, and the heat and humidity make you consider otherwise. ;)
